Data Collection

GrammarGenius Pro is built with privacy-first principles. We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal user data.

Your text is sent only to the AI provider API you personally configured with your own free API key — and nowhere else. GrammarGenius Pro has no server of its own.

Local Storage

Your preferences and data stay on your device:

API keys for configured AI providers
Provider priority order (1st / 2nd / 3rd)
Theme preference (dark / light mode)
Default tone setting
Input history for re-fixing previous text
Extension settings and state

All information is stored locally using Chrome's storage API and never leaves your browser.

AI Provider Requests

When you fix text, GrammarGenius Pro sends it to the AI provider you configured. Supported providers:

        Important: GrammarGenius Pro never sees or stores your API keys on any server. Keys are saved locally on your device and sent directly to the provider to authenticate your request.

GrammarGenius Pro does not use:

Analytics or tracking services
Third-party advertising networks
User behavior monitoring
Crash reporting services that transmit data
Telemetry of any kind

Your usage is completely private and anonymous.

GrammarGenius Pro requests only one browser permission:

storage — saves your API keys and preferences locally on your device. Nothing is synced to external servers.

No host permissions, no tab access, no browsing history — just what's needed to remember your settings.
